Global Logistics Specialist (Electric Mobility)

What you will do

• Manage end-to-end import operations across Asia, Europe, and the Americas, ensuring timely customs clearance and delivery.
• Coordinate transportation planning with Taiwan customs brokers, freight forwarders, suppliers, and vendors.
• Track inbound and outbound shipments, purchase orders, delivery ETAs, delays, holds, and exceptions.
• Maintain and improve logistics SOPs, ERP records, and shipment visibility processes.
• Manage international ocean, air, and courier freight forwarders and evaluate performance against cost, transit time, and reliability KPIs.
• Support customs audits, duty drawback, bonded processes, trade policy monitoring, and export controls.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in global transportation, carrier operations, or freight forwarding.
• Strong knowledge of Taiwan and US customs regulations and HTS classification.
• Hands-on experience coordinating with customs brokers and 3PL partners.
• Proficiency with TMS, ERP, or logistics visibility platforms.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent shipments, deadlines, and cross-functional supplier communications.
• Experience applying IATA, IMDG, or DOT requirements to lithium-ion battery cargo, including DGR documentation, packaging, and mode restrictions, is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience importing consumer electronics, e-bikes, micromobility, EV, or battery-related products.
• Exposure to import lanes in China, Taiwan, Vietnam, and/or Europe.
• Experience handling UN3480, UN3481, or UN3556 lithium battery cargo.
