Shipping and Receiving Specialist

Location: Onsite in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, United States. U.S. citizenship is required, and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance is required.

What you will do

• Process, inspect, verify, label, and route incoming shipments and materials.
• Prepare, package, label, stage, and coordinate outbound shipments with carriers.
• Handle hazardous materials shipments and expedite material flow for development and production schedules.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment throughout the facility.
• Organize inventory, maintain accurate storage and labeling, and resolve shipment or documentation discrepancies.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations.
• 5+ years of forklift or material-handling equipment experience with valid certification, plus a valid driver's license.
• 5+ years of experience shipping, receiving, transporting, or handling hazardous materials.
• Strong attention to detail, digital data-entry skills, communication, and prioritization abilities.
• Ability to work onsite in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, and lift packages weighing 25–75 lbs throughout the shift.
• U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience with ERP, MES, warehouse management systems, or Microsoft Office.
• Experience in aerospace, defense, or advanced manufacturing environments.
• Experience packaging, handling, and receiving hazardous-material shipments.
• Active U.S. Government security clearance or eligibility to obtain one.
