Financial Revenue Analyst II (Healthcare)

Location: Remote - Nationwide

Salary: $66,300–$99,450 per year, based on experience

What you will do

• Deliver forecasts, analytics, and insights for client-reported Net Patient Revenue, NPR Lift initiatives, cash collections, and full outsource collections revenue.
• Analyze patient volumes, patient statusing, service line utilization, acuity, payor mix, and rate-versus-volume changes.
• Evaluate monthly NPSR and Net AR results, identify variances, and support client close calls.
• Maintain NPR Lift reporting tools and help design improved methods for capturing revenue impact.
• Forecast cash collections, analyze operational drivers, and communicate projected trends to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with accounting and operational teams to explain adjustments, revenue results, and variances.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of previous job experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, problem-solving, decision-making, time-management, and organizational skills.
• Strong data skills, including relational database management and proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience in financial or accounting functions within healthcare.
• Knowledge of revenue cycle structure, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Access, Business Objects, and SQL programming.

Hiring process

• The required HFMA Certified Revenue Cycle Representative certification must be obtained within nine months of hire.
