Quality Manager (Automotive Quality)

Location: Commerce City, Colorado, United States

Salary: $100,000–$150,000 per year, plus potential annual incentive and long-term incentives.

hirify.global Manufacturing and Oribi develop and produce advanced thermoplastic composite parts using automation, robotics, and advanced materials for automotive, defense, aerospace, energy, and other industrial markets.

What you will do

• Lead implementation of MAQMSR and IATF 16949-aligned systems, documentation, and practices.
• Own the full quality management system, from supplier quality through final inspection.
• Prepare, submit, and complete PPAPs with customers, engineering, and manufacturing teams.
• Train and mentor employees on APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, and quality methodologies.
• Coordinate customer, third-party, and internal quality audits.
• Drive launch readiness, program quality planning, structured problem-solving, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of automotive quality experience, preferably with a Tier 1 supplier.
• Deep understanding of MAQMSR and IATF 16949 implementation requirements.
• Experience with APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, ISO 9001, and internal or external auditing.
• Ability to establish quality initiatives from the ground up in a new or rapidly scaling environment.
• Strong communication and leadership skills with a practical, hands-on approach.

Nice to have

• Experience with composites, especially thermoplastics.
• CQE, Lead Auditor, or similar certification.
