Product Engineer I

Location: Houston, TX; on-site

What you will do

• Create documentation, calculations, drawings, designs, and schematics supporting sales, manufacturing, and engineering.
• Perform calculations and select materials to meet quality assurance, sales, and customer requirements.
• Manage the drawing and design database, including revisions, distribution, and archiving.
• Create and review technical drawings and specifications.
• Perform or evaluate simulations and calculations to validate designs and documentation.
• Maintain quality requirements and perform engineering and QA checks before product shipment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 1–5 years of mechanical design experience; internships may count toward the requirement.
• Experience with mechanical design and analysis, CAD software, and MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and familiarity with ASME, ISO, and API standards are preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, technical documentation, communication, initiative, organization, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding, team-oriented environment.
