Senior Specialist, Supply Chain

Location: San Luis Obispo, California, preferred; may be based at any Advanced Purity Solutions manufacturing location in the United States

Salary: $100,000–$115,000 per year, plus annual bonus eligibility

What you will do

• Identify and resolve material shortages, cross-plant constraints, delays, and delivery risks across the end-to-end supply chain.
• Develop contingency plans and communicate risks, tradeoffs, scenarios, and recommendations to stakeholders and senior leaders.
• Represent Global Supply Planning in operations planning, daily production escalations, leadership reporting, and working sessions.
• Monitor supply chain operations and coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, and cross-functional teams.
• Analyze supply chain performance data, maintain detailed metrics reports, and identify improvement opportunities.
• Enhance ERP settings and supply chain strategies to reduce costs and improve efficiency.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of supply chain management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Supply Chain, or Industrial Distribution.
• Hands-on experience with SAP MRP/ERP is required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and/or Access, complex databases, and data analysis.
• Ability to apply statistical methods to supply chain and inventory concepts, including safety stock and stocking-level calculations.
