Senior Supply Planner (Aerospace)

Location: Hybrid role based out of Menlo Park, California, United States

What you will do

• Develop, maintain, and execute supply plans supporting engineering builds, manufacturing schedules, deployment timelines, and customer commitments.
• Analyze forecasts, BOMs, inventory, supplier lead times, open orders, and production requirements to identify material gaps and readiness risks.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Manufacturing, Engineering, Inventory Management, and Supply Chain to align material plans with program priorities.
• Monitor shortages, supplier constraints, capacity risks, and schedule changes; create mitigation plans and escalate risks affecting build or deployment timelines.
• Support S&OP, integrated business planning, material readiness reviews, NPI, prototype-to-production transitions, and production ramps.
• Improve planning accuracy, data quality, planning cadence, inventory health, supply visibility, and supply chain resilience.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience in supply planning, demand planning, production planning, materials planning, or supply chain management.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Personnel Security Clearance is required.
• Experience supporting complex hardware products in aerospace, defense, electronics, radar/RF, or advanced technology environments.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management, BOM structures, MRP, lead-time management, supply chain operations, and ERP/MRP planning systems.
• Must be eligible to obtain the authorizations required under U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including ITAR.

Nice to have

• Experience with radar, RF, aerospace, defense, satellite, electronics, or advanced sensing technology programs.
• Experience with government-funded programs, classified programs, or secure supply chain operations.
• Knowledge of supply chain risk management, supplier capacity planning, and long-lead material strategies.
• Experience with low-volume, high-complexity manufacturing, prototype builds, NPI, or production ramp environments.
• NetSuite, advanced planning tools, dashboards, APICS/ASCM certification, CPIM, or CSCP experience.
