Head of Supply Chain Management

Location: Dulles, Virginia, United States. Domestic and international travel is required.

Salary: $91,532–$186,800 per year

What you will do

• Lead logistics, transportation, field replenishment, inventory management, procurement, and quality control for the United States and Canada.
• Develop and execute short- and long-term supply chain strategies, budgets, operating models, and cost plans.
• Lead strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, purchasing policies, and supplier performance improvement.
• Direct forecasting, material availability, inventory control, intralogistics, shipping, distribution, and import/export activities.
• Optimize material costs, inventory, working capital, freight costs, operational efficiency, and customer delivery performance.
• Lead risk mitigation, business continuity, problem resolution, lean and Six Sigma initiatives, and cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, engineering, operations management, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, procurement, manufacturing, or logistics, including 5+ years in leadership roles.
• Experience leading multiple supply chain functions, budgets, cost-reduction initiatives, working capital, and operational performance indicators.
• Experience with SAP, supply chain analytics, Power BI, process mining, and digital supply chain solutions is highly desirable.
• Ability to lead through influence in a global matrix organization and manage change and organizational transformation.

• Experience working in a global matrix organization.
• Lean, Six Sigma, APICS/ASCM, or comparable professional certification.
