Supervisor, Patient Access & Pre-Access (Healthcare)

Starting salary: $47,400 annually; final compensation is based on experience.

What you will do

• Coordinate patient registration and pre-registration activities and monitor daily productivity.
• Supervise, coach, train, and evaluate Patient Access staff.
• Track department metrics including point-of-service collections, wait times, overtime, and productivity.
• Coordinate staffing schedules, rotations, time off, and call-offs while managing overtime and coverage.
• Monitor upfront collections, conduct audits, and support compliance and service excellence.
• Manage process-improvement projects, reporting, facility activities, and on-call support as needed.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of job experience.
• CHAM and CRCR certifications are required.
• Associate degree or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2–3 years of supervisory experience in healthcare or business preferred.
• Ability to lead and direct others, strong analytical ability, and working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of registration, insurance, scheduling, verification, and hospital billing.
