Machine Specialist - 1st Shift

What you will do

• Set up and operate machines to cut and process screen frame, wood, metal, or glass materials according to specifications.
• Adjust machines to maintain part tolerances, acceptable scrap levels, and efficient equipment operation.
• Inspect parts for dimensional accuracy, camber, bow, scratches, and other quality requirements.
• Perform tooling changeovers, replace saw blades, and adjust cutting depth.
• Enter production orders, complete required documentation, lubricate equipment, and perform cleaning and preventive maintenance.
• Train and assist other personnel while following safety guidelines and reporting nonconformances.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read and write, understand simple correspondence, and follow specified instructions.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic using whole numbers.
• Ability to measure and read a tape measure; experience using calipers, tape measures, or check gauges is relevant to the role.
• Proof of identity and work eligibility must be provided after hire.
