Validation Engineer

Location: Remote, with candidates based in New York, San Francisco, Munich, or London; applicants must be legally authorized to work in the US without current or future sponsorship.

Salary: $70K–$80K annually, plus equity.

What you will do

• Plan, execute, and maintain software validation activities throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Author and maintain validation plans, risk assessments, test protocols, test reports, and traceability matrices.
• Review requirements, design specifications, and user stories to ensure they are testable and controlled.
• Execute or review functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing.
• Assess validation impact during change control and update documentation.
• Support audits and inspections while improving validation processes, templates, and tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Life Sciences, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience validating SaaS or cloud-based applications.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple validation activities in parallel.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced product environment.
• Legal authorization to work in the US without current or future employment visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, ISO 9001, or similar regulatory frameworks.
• Prior experience supporting customer or internal audits.
