CNC Programmer

Location: Huntington Beach, California, United States. On-site position.

Manufacturing technology company developing proprietary software, automation, and advanced manufacturing systems for aerospace, defense, robotics, and other applications.

What you will do

• Program CNC machines, including 3- and 5-axis Zimmerman and HAAS mills.
• Program, set up, and operate LFAM 3D printers and resin- and filament-fed 3D printers.
• Inspect printed and machined molds, tooling, and composite parts, and prepare tolerance reports.
• Provide DFM feedback to engineers and identify process and cost-reduction opportunities.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and adjust programs and processes during production.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience programming with CAM software such as Mastercam, Hypermill, NX, Esprit, or Tebis.
• Experience programming 5-axis gantry machines and strong familiarity with multi-axis and 3D machines.
• At least 5 years of experience setting up and operating machines.
• Ability to read manufacturing drawings, apply GD&T, and perform inspections using calipers, micrometers, scales, and similar tools.
• Knowledge of alloys, metals, and plastics; strong problem-solving, communication, attention to detail, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted.

Nice to have

• Professional experience with Tebis, CAD software such as Siemens NX, SolidWorks, or CATIA, and CMM or surface-scanning inspection equipment.
• Experience in aerospace or motorsport tooling and mold making.
• Experience with 3D printer programming and operation, and with both R&D and production environments.
• Flexibility to work extended hours or weekends when required by customer timelines.
