CNC Programmer / Machinist – Titanium Medical Devices

What you will do

• Machine titanium components produced through additive manufacturing into finished medical device parts.
• Develop and optimize CNC programs using CAM software for complex geometries and tight tolerances.
• Set up and operate 3-axis and 5-axis CNC mills and lathes for prototypes and short production runs.
• Perform milling, drilling, tapping, surface finishing, and other precision finishing operations.
• Collaborate with R&D and design engineers on prototypes and design-for-manufacturing improvements.
• Develop workholding and fixturing solutions, inspect parts, and maintain compliant process documentation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of CNC machining experience in a prototype or R&D environment.
• Strong experience machining titanium and other difficult-to-machine materials.
• Experience programming 5-axis or mill-turn CNC machines with CAM software such as Mastercam or NX.
• At least 3 years of experience operating DMG Mori machines with Celos controls.
• Proficiency in CNC setup, tooling, process optimization, engineering drawings, GD&T, and 3D CAD models.
• Must already have full-time work authorization in the United States without requiring current or future employment visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Associate’s degree or technical certification in manufacturing, machining, engineering technology, or a related field.
• Experience machining additively manufactured components using SLS, DMLS, EBM, or similar processes.
• Familiarity with post-processing additive-manufactured titanium parts.
• Experience in regulated manufacturing environments and strong documentation skills.
