Location: Must be based in San Francisco or willing to relocate immediately. Role is 100% on-site.

Salary: $150,000 – $175,000 + equity and bonus.

What you will do

• Partner directly with the CEO on high-priority strategic projects, biz ops, and M&A diligence.
• Build 0→1 systems for underwriting operations, risk evaluation, and customer experience using AI.
• Analyze complex operational workflows and customer interactions to drive throughput and efficiency.
• Bridge the gap between engineering, operations, and growth teams to turn market needs into product requirements.
• Own cross-functional initiatives end-to-end, from data gathering to experiment execution.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in high-intensity analytical or operational roles (IB, PE, management consulting, or high-growth startups).
• Exceptional analytical skills, including complex data analysis and financial modeling.
• Ability to operate autonomously, context-switch rapidly, and deliver under high pressure.
• Must be based in San Francisco or willing to relocate immediately.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in insurance, fintech, or other regulated industries.
• Prior experience working directly with founders or C-suite executives.
• Familiarity with AI and automation tooling.
• Prior startup or 0→1 building experience.
