Electrician Lead (Electric Aviation)

Location: South Burlington, Vermont, United States

Salary: $46–$49 USD per hour

What you will do

• Lead and mentor the facilities electrical team maintaining and upgrading building systems.
• Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot electrical systems, data networks, fire alarms, and related equipment.
• Work with ANSI-defined medium- and low-voltage systems ranging from 12,470 VAC to 120 VAC.
• Supervise, train, and evaluate electricians on technical skills, safety protocols, and company procedures.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and facility management on electrical projects.
• Manage preventive maintenance schedules and respond to electrical emergencies and outages.

Requirements

• Valid Master Electrician license and 10+ years of hands-on commercial or industrial electrical experience.
• Thorough knowledge of electrical codes, safety regulations, and OSHA standards.
• Familiarity with state and municipal permitting processes.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management experience.
• Ability to work in dangerous, busy, or loud environments and in a fast-paced team setting.
• Valid driver's license and strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Foreman or supervisor experience.
• Experience with Building Automation Systems.
• Experience with commercial or industrial facilities management.
