What you will do

• Identify technological features requiring control through design rules in collaboration with program managers, manufacturing, process integration, customer engineering, and benchmarking teams.
• Create layout Designs of Experiment and test structures for delivery on test vehicles.
• Perform silicon data analysis and communicate conclusions to design rule engineers and integration teams.
• Recommend process and design rule modifications based on data to optimize the technology portfolio.
• Validate transferred technologies and confirm compatibility of design rules with the relevant fabrication line.
• Follow Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security requirements and programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Solid State Physics, or a related engineering discipline.
• Strong data analysis, data mining, and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of semiconductor fabrication flow, nanofabrication, solid-state and semiconductor device physics, and design-of-experiments methodology.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to complete the Ground Rule Validation training curriculum and work with technologies manufactured in the United States or Singapore.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree and 0–2 years of semiconductor industry experience in device, process integration, or unit process areas.
• PhD in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Solid State Physics, Materials Science, or a related discipline.
• Familiarity with Cadence Virtuoso Schematic Editor, Virtuoso Layout Suite, or Calibre DRC/LVS.
• Experience solving complex, non-recurring problems with initiative and creativity.
