Process Support Engineer (Thin Film) (Semiconductor)

Location: Singapore, Singapore. Travel required for 25% of the time. Relocation eligible.

What you will do

• Provide customer support through on-site installations, system diagnoses, service, and repair of complex equipment.
• Work with customers and R&D teams to develop processes for advanced semiconductor manufacturing.
• Create hypothesis experiments and design-of-experiments studies, analyze data statistically, and prepare technical reports.
• Troubleshoot complex process and equipment issues, perform root cause analyses, and resolve customer product problems.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and customers, building effective working relationships and trust.
• Apply process and customer knowledge to evaluate solutions for a range of technical problems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, physics, materials engineering, electrical engineering, optoelectronics, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in the semiconductor fab or equipment industry.
• English communication proficiency required.
• Willingness to travel 25% of the time.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or PhD in a related field.
