Staff Engineer, Analog Layout (Semiconductors)

What you will do

• Own chip and macro layout processes and manage overall project schedules.
• Develop high-performance analog circuits for High-Speed Connectivity, Broadband Analog, and Computing/Storage-Memory Data-Transport products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, backend, frontend, ESD, packaging, and CAD.
• Lead and coordinate with remote design teams to represent layout within the project.
• Implement project-specific guidelines and ensure team compliance.
• Contribute to team growth through tool testing, script development, and flow documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
• 5+ years of professional experience in analog layout.
• Deep understanding of layout methodology from initial chip planning to tape-out.
• Expertise in parasitic optimization and high-performance analog circuit layout.
• Proficiency with CALIBRE DRC, ERC, and LVS reports.
• High level of proficiency in Synopsys or Cadence layout entry tools.
• English: Fluent (C1) required.
• Eligibility: Must be eligible to access export-controlled information under U.S. law.

Nice to have

• Experience with advanced process technology and Fin-FET.
• Programming skills in Skill, Ample, or Perl.
