What you will do

  • Drive end-to-end process integration for advanced semiconductor and photonics device fabrication.
  • Define and optimize process flows to meet performance, yield, reliability, and manufacturability targets.
  • Collaborate with lithography, etch, deposition, metrology, design, process, and operations teams.
  • Design and analyze experiments to identify process sensitivities and improve process control.
  • Analyze optical test data, troubleshoot integration failures, and lead root-cause analysis.
  • Support technology roadmaps and transfer developed technologies into volume manufacturing.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field; a PhD is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of work experience, including more than 3 years in process integration, preferably in R&D within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of nanotechnology processes, including lithography, etch, deposition, CMP, and metrology.
  • Experience with statistical data analysis, process optimization and control, Design of Experiments, SPC, and JMP.
  • Ability to read GDS and OASIS layout files and communicate effectively across engineering functions.
  • Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing standards such as ISO, SEMI, and ITAR is beneficial, as are project management skills.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of optical proximity correction methodologies.
  • Knowledge of optics principles and photonic components and systems.
