Manufacturing Test Engineer I (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Beverly, Massachusetts, United States — onsite, Monday–Friday, 2:00pm–10:30pm

Base salary: $66,565.20–$99,847.80 per year, plus eligibility for a team incentive bonus and benefits for regular employees working 20+ hours per week.

What you will do

• Design, develop, validate, and maintain electrical and mechanical manufacturing test solutions, automated test equipment, fixtures, and tooling.
• Build and integrate test systems using modeling, mechanical design, instrumentation, sensors, and PCBA-level hardware.
• Debug test equipment and analyze test data to identify failure modes, root causes, and process variations.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Design Engineering, Quality, and Process Engineering on test requirements and new product introduction.
• Create and maintain test procedures, calibration instructions, documentation, and engineering reports.
• Improve test throughput, repeatability, downtime, and equipment reliability using subtractive and additive fabrication tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 0–2 years of engineering experience; co-op and internship experience is welcome.
• Familiarity with CAD tools such as SolidWorks, Creo, or AutoCAD.
• Understanding of electrical schematics, PCB design tools, and measurement equipment including DMMs, oscilloscopes, and signal analyzers.
• Familiarity with National Instruments cDAQ, PXI, LabVIEW, and TestStand.
• Ability to use fabrication tools and data analysis tools such as Excel, Python, or MATLAB, with strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and attention to detail.
