Systems Engineer III (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Gloucester, MA, United States. Relocation eligible; travel required approximately 10% of the time.

Salary: $120,000–$165,000 per year, plus potentially applicable bonus and stock awards.

What you will do

• Define and design complex components, modules, and subsystems that meet market requirement specifications.
• Develop system engineering specifications and coordinate subsystem requirements with project marketing and management.
• Lead architecture brainstorming, evaluate design approaches, and drive subsystem architecture selection.
• Build and qualify prototypes or test outsourced subsystems for compliance with detailed specifications.
• Support system integration, assembly, final product testing, and reliability testing.
• Troubleshoot difficult engineering problems involving serviceability, manufacturability, and mixed electrical, mechanical, physics, algorithm, and software systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 4–7 years of relevant experience.
• Strong systems thinking, engineering analysis, requirements definition, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate across electrical, mechanical, physics, algorithms, and software disciplines.
• Ability to work in Gloucester, MA, United States.
