What you will do
- Develop, operate, maintain, and characterize environmental stress systems for package qualification and technology development.
- Support reliability testing under thermal cycling, temperature extremes, and humidity exposure.
- Advance packaging technologies including EMIB, Foveros, Hybrid Bonding, and Co-Packaged Optics.
- Translate reliability stress requirements into fixturing, tools, systems, and innovative test solutions.
- Coordinate tool vendors and field service engineers while collaborating with operations, planning, and facilities.
- Improve test methods, specifications, training, data quality, and statistical process control.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related scientific field with 3+ years of experience, or a PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related scientific field.
- Strong understanding of DC electrical systems, including troubleshooting and calibration of programmable power supplies and instrumentation.
- Experience with electrical measurement and data acquisition equipment, including digital multimeters, thermocouple systems, and temperature monitoring hardware.
- Knowledge of electronics fundamentals, sensor integration, electrical hardware, wiring, connectors, relays, and control systems.
- Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Understanding of calibration, measurement accuracy, uncertainty, equipment verification, and ISO 9001/17025 readiness.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with DAQ systems, GEM 300, Ethernet, GPIB, RS-232, and automated test equipment.
- Experience with LabVIEW, Python, JMP, or SQL for measurement, control, automation, and data analysis.
