Company

hirify.global develops software-driven, hardware-agnostic robotic systems for warehouse automation.

What you will do

  • Lead field deployment and steady-state operation of Mech robotic systems at customer sites.
  • Diagnose hardware and system issues using logs, field diagnostics, and hands-on testing; perform root-cause analysis and durable fixes.
  • Coordinate repairs, replacements, upgrades, retrofits, warranty actions, spare-part tracking, and RMAs.
  • Partner with Applications Support, TAC, Product Engineering, and service teams on complex hardware, sensor, and application issues.
  • Create service manuals, troubleshooting trees, runbooks, knowledge-base articles, and automated diagnostics.
  • Train field personnel and integrators and provide technical leadership during pilots, go-lives, upgrades, and chronic issue investigations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in field service, product support, or hardware debugging for robotics, automation, or complex electromechanical systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across electromechanical systems, pneumatics, drives, sensors, and industrial robotics.
  • Experience with Linux command line, log analysis, and basic application debugging using Python and SQL.
  • Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings; perform equipment access, lifting, calibration, and service tasks in warehouse environments.
  • Ability to lead service actions in ambiguous field conditions and remain available for high-severity incidents when required.

Nice to have

  • Experience with warehouse robotics or industrial automation systems.
  • Familiarity with EtherCAT, Beckhoff, Elmo servo drives, Grafana, Kibana, Foxglove, or ArgoCD.
  • Field service engineering or hardware NPI commissioning experience.
  • Experience developing diagnostic tooling and debugging real-time application layers.
  • Knowledge of reliability modeling, FMEA, MTTR, or MTBF.

Culture & Benefits

  • Work on robotics designed to automate repetitive and physically difficult warehouse tasks.
  • Customer-site assignments are structured to establish a consistent presence and reduce frequent travel.
  • Compensation may include equity awards, benefits, wellness resources, and other incentives depending on eligibility and location.
  • Work in a multidisciplinary engineering environment focused on customer reliability and continuous improvement.
