Software Engineer (Cybersecurity)

Salary: $180,000–$250,000 per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Own and deliver major product and platform initiatives from design through production.
• Build and scale distributed services and data pipelines that ingest, process, and analyze massive volumes of security telemetry.
• Develop backend services, APIs, data infrastructure, and user-facing applications as required by each problem.
• Define architecture, evaluate technical trade-offs, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable systems.
• Collaborate with product, design, security, and AI/ML teams to deliver usable solutions.
• Use AI-native development practices to improve engineering velocity and quality.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience building and operating production systems.
• Strong backend development experience with Python, Go, or similar technologies.
• Experience with distributed systems, data pipelines, or large-scale platforms.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, plus containers, orchestration, and CI/CD.
• Ability to reason about performance, reliability, and scalability in production systems.
• Strong communication, cross-functional collaboration, mentoring, and product judgment.

Nice to have

• Frontend experience with React and TypeScript.
• Experience with Kafka, ClickHouse, Snowflake, BigQuery, or similar data platforms.
• Background in cybersecurity, observability, or large-scale analytics systems.
