Strategic Finance Lead

Location: New York City, United States; on-site

Salary: $180,000–$220,000 per year plus equity

What you will do

• Own the financial model covering revenue, margins, headcount, cash, and scenario planning.
• Run forecasting and planning cycles, including bi-weekly reviews, quarterly planning, and board support.
• Build pricing, capacity planning, utilization, and unit economics frameworks.
• Partner with growth on pipeline forecasting, pilots, expansion, and go-to-market efficiency.
• Lead cash planning, runway analysis, capital allocation, fundraising support, and investor reporting.
• Coordinate with external accounting, tax, and audit firms to maintain reliable financial operations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in strategic finance, FP&A, investment banking, or private equity.
• Strong financial modeling, analytical judgment, and experience with forecasting, planning, and KPI development.
• Experience in SaaS, technology-enabled services, marketplaces, or other operationally complex businesses.
• Experience with SQL, BI tools, or data analysis workflows.
• Hands-on ownership of projects from ideation through execution and effective collaboration with technical and non-technical leaders.
• Ability to work on-site in New York City.
