Production Coordinator (Spacecraft)

Location: Redondo Beach, United States; onsite. Applicants must be U.S. Persons or eligible to obtain an export license under ITAR/EAR regulations.

Compensation: $25.00–$35.00 per hour

What you will do

• Release and manage manufacturing work orders in ERP/MES systems and coordinate handoffs between work centers.
• Track production progress, identify schedule risks, and escalate delays, bottlenecks, and resource constraints.
• Verify material availability, coordinate staging and kit readiness, and resolve shortages with Inventory, Planning, and Procurement.
• Coordinate hardware movement between departments and maintain accurate work order, location, and status data.
• Support recovery plans, production reviews, process improvement projects, and lean manufacturing initiatives.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, production control, supply chain, operations, or planning.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Experience using ERP, MRP, MES, and/or QMS systems.
• Must meet U.S. export-control eligibility requirements as a U.S. Person or be eligible to obtain an applicable export license.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of experience in aerospace, electronics, automotive, or other high-volume manufacturing.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas, and macros.
• Experience with SQL, Python, or other programming.
