Manager, Physical Security (West Coast)

Location: Santa Ana, California, United States; onsite at headquarters 5 days per week

Salary: $107,000–$125,000 annually, with potential additional bonus or other compensation.

What you will do

• Lead West Coast security operations across internal and contracted security teams, including workforce planning, scheduling, performance management, and development.
• Own the regional security strategy, roadmap, budgets, headcount, KPIs, SLAs, and strategic projects.
• Develop and review security policies, procedures, training programs, and standard operating procedures.
• Partner with Technical Security, HR, Legal, Facilities, and Operations to improve surveillance, access control, video monitoring, alarm systems, compliance, and risk mitigation.
• Lead incident investigations, emergency response, security assessments, and critical event response, including outside standard business hours.
• Present security risks, incidents, metrics, and program updates to executives and business leaders.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of corporate security management experience and 10 years of total security experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
• Deep knowledge of access control, CCTV and video management, intrusion detection, guest management, key control, and fire life-safety systems.
• Experience developing security policies, procedures, training programs, incident investigations, security assessments, and complex security projects.
• Strong expertise in security risk assessment, data-driven decision-making, project management, executive communication, and cross-functional leadership.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; hirify.global uses e-Verify.

Nice to have

• ASIS Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Physical Security Professional (PSP) certification.
• Experience in travel safety, crisis management, executive protection, or business continuity.
