Regional Security Manager (Gaming)

Location: Hybrid role based in one of hirify.global’s California offices in San Mateo, San Diego, Aliso Viejo, or Los Angeles; expected to work in-office an average of 2 days per week.

Salary: $150,700–$226,100 USD base pay annually, with potential bonus eligibility.

What you will do

• Lead and support regional physical security teams and contribute to security strategies across the Americas.
• Oversee security programs, policies, risk assessments, site reviews, emergency preparedness, and compliance across offices and studios.
• Lead or support workplace security incidents, investigations, crisis response, emergency planning, and tabletop exercises.
• Manage third-party security providers, vendors, budgets, resources, and service delivery.
• Plan security operations for PlayStation events, activations, executive engagements, and other regional activities.
• Partner with HR, IT, Workplace, Legal, leadership, industry peers, and external security organizations.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in physical security, corporate security operations, investigations, law enforcement, military, intelligence, or a related field.
• Experience managing security initiatives across multiple locations or regions.
• Strong leadership, people management, coaching, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Ability to assess complex situations and make informed decisions during incidents.
• Experience managing vendors, contractors, or third-party security providers.
• Familiarity with crisis management, emergency response, event security, regional travel, and occasional evening or weekend work.

Nice to have

• Experience in technology, gaming, entertainment, or other fast-paced global organizations.
• CPP or similar industry certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, Emergency Management, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
