Security Operations Manager (Aerospace)

Location: Kent, Washington, with direct support for the Moses Lake test facility; willingness to relocate to Kent is required. On-site work includes industrial facilities, construction zones, outdoor areas, and test operations.

Salary: $72,660–$108,885 for Level 3 or $92,610–$138,810 for Level 4 per year.

What you will do

• Lead physical security operations, access control, incident response, and security infrastructure for the Kent facilities.
• Develop site security strategies, multi-year plans, procedures, post orders, and operating instructions.
• Conduct security risk assessments, vulnerability reviews, investigations, and security awareness training.
• Manage contracted security providers, guard force personnel, test exclusion areas, special events, and site access requirements.
• Oversee access control, CCTV, video management, intrusion detection, and perimeter security systems.
• Coordinate with law enforcement, federal and military organizations, port authorities, emergency management groups, site leadership, facilities, operations, IT, and safety teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 5+ years in physical security, law enforcement, military security, industrial security, or a related field.
• 3+ years of leadership experience managing security personnel or security programs, including contract guard force operations.
• Experience establishing physical security programs, managing access control and video surveillance systems, and conducting investigations.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearances, a Federal DBIDS, a TWIC card, and pass a USSF background check.
• Valid state security officer license or eligibility to obtain one, plus a valid driver’s license.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual under ITAR requirements, and must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Aerospace, defense, launch operations, manufacturing, critical infrastructure, or maritime experience.
• Experience with the National Industrial Security Program, NISPOM, facility clearance requirements, or the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency.
• Experience supporting federal or military environments, government customers, and regulatory agencies.
• PSP, CPP, ASIS, FEMA Incident Command, or similar security certifications.
• Secret or higher security clearance.
