Associate Director, Corporate Security

Location: On site in a hirify.global office location; listed locations include Washington, DC and other U.S. locations. Regular travel and 24/7 on-call availability are required.

Salary: $131,200–$238,300 annually in Washington, DC; ranges vary by listed U.S. location.

What you will do

• Serve as the senior delegate to the Director and lead a multi-location corporate security portfolio.
• Oversee threat assessment, protective operations, physical security standards, emergency response, and operational continuity.
• Manage sensitive investigations involving misconduct, threats, breaches, and criminal activity.
• Lead executive protection for the CEO and Management Committee, including protective intelligence, secure movement, and event planning.
• Manage security vendors, guard force performance, security technology, and executive protection logistics.
• Advise senior leaders and maintain 24/7 availability for emergencies, high-impact incidents, and protective escalations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• At least 10 years of federal, state, municipal, or corporate law enforcement experience, including executive protection.
• At least 5 years managing a multi-state security program.
• Experience with threat assessment, protective intelligence, risk assessments, physical security investigations, and confidential internal investigations.
• Proficiency with access control, CCTV monitoring, surveillance technologies, and relevant security platforms.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, professional protective or defensive driving certification, and ability to pass background, drug, and motor vehicle checks.

Nice to have

• HR218/LEOSA certification.
• ASIS Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or comparable executive protection certification.
• Advanced medical or trauma training such as TCCC or EMR.
• Professional relationships with law enforcement, emergency services, or protective intelligence resources.
