Senior Specialist, Security

Location: Tysons, Virginia, United States; onsite work with frequent travel and vehicle-based duties

Salary: $96,600–$172,800 annually for work performed in Tysons, VA

What you will do

• Oversee day-to-day security operations for assigned hirify.global offices and supervise contract security officers.
• Provide executive protection, secure transportation, route planning, and onsite security support for meetings, conferences, and hearings.
• Respond to emergencies, assess threats, investigate incidents, and recommend corrective measures.
• Conduct security program reviews, tests, exercises, and drills, documenting vulnerabilities and corrective actions.
• Support physical security projects, security training, awareness programs, and emergency preparedness initiatives.
• Remain on call 24x7 and maintain strict confidentiality regarding executive information and security operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent and at least eight years of experience in law enforcement, executive protection, and/or security management.
• At least two years of investigative experience and three years of supervisory or management experience.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, strong de-escalation and problem-solving skills, and the ability to lift and carry baggage.
• Knowledge of intrusion detection and access-control systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and security operations.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally and work outside normal business hours.
• Must work onsite and be available for frequent travel, emergency response, and vehicle-based duties.

Nice to have

• Professional driving experience and defensive driving certification.
• Certified Protection Professional designation through the American Society of Industrial Security.
