Inventory Control Specialist (Battery Manufacturing)

Location: McCarran, Nevada, United States; onsite warehouse role

hirify.global is localizing the battery supply chain through battery recovery, reuse, recycling, energy storage, and battery-material production in the United States.

What you will do

• Lead cycle counts, physical inventory audits, and related inventory-accuracy programs.
• Coordinate task distribution with Material Flow, Operations, and inventory-control leadership.
• Train, guide, and support material handlers across receiving, inventory control, and data-gathering activities.
• Monitor WMS transactions, generate reports, and compile inventory metrics for operational and management decisions.
• Investigate inventory variances, perform root cause analysis, and document findings for process improvement.
• Maintain raw-material documentation, inventory records, quality standards, safety practices, and an organized work environment; perform material handling and occasional forklift driving as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; an Associate degree is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Experience operating a forklift or other powered industrial equipment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and collaborate under pressure.
• Ability to use a PAPR respirator occasionally and perform physical work, including standing, walking, bending, pushing, pulling, repetitive tasks, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors with exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, and changing temperatures.

Nice to have

• Experience with Oracle WMS and Tableau.
• Associate degree.
