Material Handling III, Inventory Control

Location: Austin, TX; based at the Burnet, TX manufacturing facility

What you will do

• Conduct and coordinate weekly IM and WM cycle counts for plant and third-party logistics inventory.
• Investigate inventory variances, identify root causes, and complete reconciliations, corrections, and adjustments.
• Maintain inventory integrity, master data, serialized equipment records, and fleet data in SAP.
• Support canister and cylinder fleet management, canister conversions, asset capitalization, and serialization activities.
• Create stock transfer orders, process consignment and return transactions, and support warehouse and logistics movements.
• Generate gas shipping documentation and assist with receiving, labeling, and small-parts put-away activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in inventory control, cycle counting, warehouse operations, or logistics.
• Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate data in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
• Onsite work at the Austin/Burnet, Texas facility is required; hirify.global does not provide immigration-related sponsorship for this role.

Nice to have

• SAP experience in Inventory Management, Warehouse Management, or Logistics modules.
• Experience in manufacturing or chemical manufacturing.
• Forklift certification or prior forklift operation experience.
• Knowledge of serialized asset management and fleet administration.
