TL;DR

Salary: $30.00–$60.00 per hour

What you will do

  • Fabricate and assemble wire harnesses and electro-mechanical assemblies.
  • Support design validation, prototyping, first builds, production trials, and repair of instrumentation, control, and powertrain assemblies.
  • Read drawings and controlled documentation, verify hardware, and document test results.
  • Develop production processes for first-time production runs.
  • Collaborate with design engineers to troubleshoot failures using test data.
  • Build AC power equipment up to 480VAC and electrical control panels to NFPA 79 and UL 508A standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
  • Understanding of basic electronic theory and experience with electrical troubleshooting.
  • Skill with mechanical hand tools and at least 2 years of hands-on work experience.
  • Ability to solder and desolder through-hole and SMT components, and support conformal coating, masking, and epoxy application.
  • Ability to stand, lift, and carry equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
  • Availability for all required shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed.

Nice to have

  • 4+ years of electro-mechanical, integration, or mechanical assembly experience.
  • Experience independently setting up and running tests and experiments.
  • Strong attention to detail, communication skills, work ethic, and problem-solving ability.
