Senior Product Designer (Industrial Software)

Location: Hybrid, based at the New York City headquarters

hirify.global develops OT backup and code management software for industrial systems, factories, warehouses, data centers, logistics, manufacturing, and energy customers.

What you will do

• Define problem statements and target user archetypes for complex technical workflows.
• Explore and design product solutions using industry-standard tools such as Figma and Claude.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, engineers, customer success, and other stakeholders.
• Present design work internally and incorporate feedback from subject-matter experts and external users.
• Contribute to and improve the end-to-end design process and internal design practices.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of hands-on product design experience.
• Experience across the design process, from discovery through delivery.
• Ability to translate complex discussions into clear problems and solutions.
• Comfort working with ambiguity and taking ownership of the design process.
• Resourceful, adaptable, execution-driven, collaborative, and receptive to feedback.

Nice to have

• Experience designing data-dense, technical products.
• Background in industrial automation, manufacturing systems, or OT/IT convergence.
• Experience with emerging AI tooling.
• Familiarity with Git workflows, code review practices, and DevOps culture.
