Senior Product Designer (AI)

Location: Hybrid in San Mateo, California, with regular in-office presence; candidates must be located in California or willing to relocate.

What you will do

• Own product feature design from discovery and concept development through detailed design and delivery with engineering.
• Translate complex B2B workflows, data-rich interfaces, and diverse user needs into intuitive user flows and accessible experiences.
• Use AI-assisted design tools and bidirectional design-to-code workflows to accelerate prototyping, explore interaction patterns, and prepare production-ready specifications.
• Develop and evolve scalable Figma design systems with reusable, token-ready components for desktop, tablet, and mobile interfaces.
• Design and launch features such as enhanced search interfaces and data visualization tools in collaboration with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success.
• Lead user research and usability testing, creating personas and user journeys while evaluating product usage to reduce cognitive load and improve efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
• 5+ years of product design or UI/UX design experience focused on enterprise SaaS products and complex workflows.
• Active, practical fluency with AI-assisted design tools, including generative prototyping and LLM-assisted workflows.
• Mastery of Figma, including design systems and auto-layout, with a portfolio covering complex web applications, data-dense interfaces, and enterprise workflows.
• Proficiency in user-centered design, accessibility standards, systems thinking, and usability testing.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with bidirectional design-to-code workflows, design token pipelines, or AI-assisted front-end generation.
• Experience designing B2B procurement, construction technology, or marketplace platforms.
• Understanding of mobile-first design, responsive frameworks, AI-driven design innovations, HTML, CSS, and React-based design systems.
• Experience designing for users with different levels of technical proficiency.
