Manager, Litigation Lawyer

Location: NCR - WGC, Philippines; willingness to travel throughout the Philippines for hearings required

What you will do

• Handle civil, criminal, and administrative litigation cases from initiation through trial or settlement.
• Develop litigation strategies, assess cases, and prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, contracts, and other legal documents.
• Represent the company before courts and judicial, quasi-judicial, and administrative bodies.
• Research complex legal issues, monitor legislation and jurisprudence, and provide legal opinions.
• Advise business units on legal matters, compliance, and risk mitigation.
• Communicate with internal clients, colleagues, and external parties while handling legal inquiries and related administrative work.

Requirements

• Law Degree, either Bachelor of Laws or Juris Doctor.
• At least seven years of litigation experience.
• Proven experience handling diverse criminal cases, including filing, prosecution, and defense.
• Strong organizational skills, ethical standards, attention to detail, self-motivation, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to travel for hearings throughout the Philippines.
• Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt to organizational culture and values.
