hirify.global provides a fully digital Securities Lending as a Service platform that enables online brokers, private banks, and wealth managers to offer securities lending to their clients.

What you will do

• Report to the General Counsel and develop across the legal function.
• Support negotiation of trading, lending, agency, and collateral agreements based on ISLA standards.
• Review and negotiate vendor agreements, NDAs, and other third-party contracts.
• Advise on commercial matters, intellectual property, data protection, employment law, and general legal issues.
• Work with Sales, Strategy, Operations, and Product teams to provide commercial legal support.
• Research legal and regulatory issues and help resolve business stakeholder queries.

Requirements

• Qualified solicitor in England and Wales with 4–6 years PQE.
• Experience in a startup, fintech, financial services firm, or private practice.
• Experience providing general corporate advice and supporting commercial agreements.
• Working familiarity with UK financial services laws and regulations.
• Strong legal drafting, analytical, research, organisational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple matters, meet deadlines, and escalate complex issues appropriately.

Nice to have

• Transactional experience with financial products or collateral structures.
• Experience with fintech, SaaS, or other technology businesses.
• Knowledge of intellectual property, technology, or employment law.
• Interest in responsible AI practices, risk mitigation, AI vendors, or AI infrastructure.
