TL;DR
Legal Manager (Corporate Law/Financial Regulation): Managing contracts, legal operations, governance, and regulatory compliance for a non-banking financial entity under the supervision of Egypt’s Financial Regulatory Authority with an accent on Egyptian corporate law, capital markets regulations, and FRA frameworks. Focus on developing legal frameworks for new products, coordinating regulatory filings and licensing, and advising business functions on contractual and operational legal risks.

Location: On-site in Maadi, Cairo Governorate, Egypt

What you will do

  • Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize service, partnership, client, vendor, and other operational contracts.
  • Maintain a structured contracts repository and track renewals and expiries.
  • Provide legal opinions and guidance on contractual matters and operational legal risks.
  • Design legal frameworks for new business models and product lines.
  • Coordinate compliance matters, regulatory filings, disclosures, and licensing requirements with the FRA.

Requirements

  • 7–10 years of post-graduation legal experience in in-house corporate entities.
  • LLB from an Egyptian accredited university.
  • Deep expertise in Egyptian corporate law, capital markets regulations, and FRA governance frameworks.
  • Experience with GAFI and FRA procedures.
  • Knowledge of notarization and authentication workflows.

Nice to have

  • Experience with entities regulated by the Financial Regulatory Authority.
  • Higher Diploma or Master’s degree in corporate law, capital markets, or business law.
