Senior Accountant (Finance)

Location: Preference for San Francisco (hybrid) or remote within the United States. Must be authorized to work in the US.

Salary: $90,000 – $140,000 per year, plus equity and bonus.

What you will do

• Own the monthly accounting close process and account reconciliations.
• Partner with external accounting and tax providers to ensure accurate reporting.
• Implement and document internal controls and accounting policies.
• Manage day-to-day operations including AP, vendor management, and sales tax.
• Build out revenue reporting processes to support both self-serve and enterprise business lines.
• Collaborate with department leaders on expense tagging and budget allocations.

Requirements

• 4+ years of accounting experience in public accounting, senior accountant, or accounting manager roles.
• Must have experience with ASC 606 revenue recognition.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Hands-on experience with financial audits, PBC support, and workpapers.
• Strong proficiency in spreadsheet formulas and working with unstructured data.
• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Nice to have

• CPA certification or progress toward one.
• Experience with usage-based revenue recognition.
• Previous experience in a high-growth startup environment.
