Senior Accountant (SaaS)

Location: Hybrid, based out of hirify.global office hubs in San Francisco, New York City, Salt Lake City, or Dublin; in-person collaboration 3 days per week.

Salary: $115,000–$140,000 annually, plus equity.

hirify.global provides a tax automation platform that connects with billing and payment systems to automate tax monitoring, calculations, and filing for digital businesses.

What you will do

• Prepare and post journal entries for fixed assets, prepaid expenses, accruals, accounts payable, cash, and corporate card activity.
• Own month-end balance sheet reconciliations, resolve variances, and support monthly and quarterly close calendars.
• Manage the accounts payable cycle, including invoice coding, approvals, and payment runs.
• Partner with department heads on expense coding, policy compliance, and corporate card reconciliation.
• Contribute to the annual external audit and maintain accounting policies and internal controls documentation.
• Identify repetitive manual workflows and propose automation or system-driven solutions while documenting new processes.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of accounting experience; a combination of public accounting and industry experience is preferred.
• CPA or CPA eligibility is strongly preferred.
• Hands-on general ledger experience across fixed assets, prepaids, accounts payable, and cash.
• Comfort working in an evolving environment with ambiguity and a small team.
• Detail-oriented, systems-minded approach with an interest in improving inefficient workflows.
• Familiarity with accounting systems such as Campfire ERP and Ramp.

Nice to have

• Experience participating in an accounting system implementation or migration.
• Curiosity about AI tools and their application to accounting workflows.
