Location: New York City, hybrid; three days per week (Tuesday–Thursday) in the TriBeCa office

Salary: $180,000–$240,000 base salary annually, plus equity and benefits

What you will do

• Own accounting operations across the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, revenue recognition, and tax compliance.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements under US GAAP.
• Lead preparation for and management of annual external audits with a Big 4 accounting firm.
• Oversee ASC 606 revenue recognition, reconciliations, internal controls, and federal, state, and local reporting.
• Partner with FP&A on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis while managing auditors, tax advisors, and other external partners.
• Oversee in-house and outsourced accounting teams, support accounting operations for an acquisition, and lead the Rillet ERP implementation.

Requirements

• CPA with 8–12+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Public accounting and direct audit experience; Big 4 experience is preferred.
• Experience in high-growth, venture-backed companies, ideally at Series B–D stage.
• In-depth knowledge of US GAAP, ASC 606, and internal control frameworks.
• Experience preparing a company for Big 4 audits, leading teams, and implementing accounting systems.
• Availability to work from the New York City office three days per week is required.

Nice to have

• Experience in SaaS, technology-enabled services, or subscription-based revenue models.
• Exposure to IPO readiness.
• Advanced Excel and business intelligence tool experience.
• Experience with Rillet.
