Accounting Manager

Location: San Francisco, United States; hybrid

Salary: $120,000–$150,000 per year, plus equity

hirify.global is building an AI-powered healthcare platform that trains, enables, and supports family caregivers while helping health plans and government partners improve care delivery at home.

What you will do

• Own monthly financial close processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, reporting, and flux analyses.
• Prepare financial statements and business commentary.
• Manage accounts payable and global disbursements.
• Support the annual external audit and tax and compliance filings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure business activities are accurately captured.
• Optimize accounting systems, automate processes, and develop documented policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent work experience.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience in a high-growth, fast-paced startup environment.
• Experience with ERP systems, finance software, modern finance tools, and large datasets.
• Intermediate Excel or similar skills, strong reconciliation ability, attention to detail, and commitment to data integrity.
• Ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines, navigate ambiguity, and use AI to improve data quality and process efficiency.

Nice to have

• CPA or CPA candidate status.
• Public accounting experience.
• Familiarity with ASC 606/954 for healthcare companies.
