Head of Facilities (Aerospace)

Location: In-person at the San Carlos, CA HQ; the posting also lists San Carlos, CA or Seattle, WA.

Salary: $220,000–$260,000 annually

hirify.global is building orbital infrastructure using satellites in Low Earth Orbit to enable space-based energy generation, compute, and high-bandwidth optical data transmission.

What you will do

• Develop and execute a multi-year facilities roadmap aligned with production and headcount growth.
• Lead site selection, facility build-outs, expansions, consolidations, and future manufacturing or test sites.
• Oversee cleanroom design, certification, maintenance, and satellite assembly, integration, and test infrastructure.
• Manage high-reliability power, compressed gases, HVAC, thermal control, vibration isolation, and EMI/EMC systems.
• Own maintenance programs, facility uptime, safety metrics, asset lifecycle tracking, operating budgets, and capital expenditure planning.
• Build and manage the facilities and site services team while coordinating vendors, engineering, audits, and inspections.

Requirements

• 10+ years of facilities leadership experience in aerospace, semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, or comparable high-specification environments.
• Experience leading facilities in a fast-scaling or high-growth company.
• Direct experience with cleanrooms, laboratories, or mission-critical infrastructure.
• Strong capital project and facility build-out management experience.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and industrial systems, along with strong leadership and collaboration skills.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or eligible to obtain the authorizations required under ITAR.
