Fullstack Software Engineer (Healthcare)

Location: New York City, United States; on-site, five days per week

Salary: $230,000–$270,000 per year, plus equity and benefits

What you will do

• Design and build user-facing healthcare features and internal tools with backend engineers, product managers, operations, and clients.
• Own new products from discovery through launch, gathering feedback and iterating quickly.
• Build intuitive front-end experiences for complex healthcare workflows with a strong focus on usability.
• Make backend decisions covering API design, data modeling, and service architecture.
• Develop modular, reusable systems that support scalability, maintainability, and engineering velocity.
• Contribute to technical culture through engineering best practices, code quality, and thoughtful architecture.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience building production software across both frontend and backend.
• Strong proficiency with JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.
• Experience building, maintaining, and monitoring APIs.
• Strong UX awareness, problem-solving skills, ownership, and a bias for action.
• Willingness to work in person at the New York City office five days per week.

Nice to have

• 2+ years of Python experience.
• AWS experience.
• Experience with relational databases.
