Forward Deployed Engineer (AI)

Location: On-site in the New York City or San Francisco office, United States

Salary: $140,000–$260,000 base salary per year, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Design and build custom integrations connecting the platform with enterprise systems, business intelligence tools, and data warehouses.
• Write production-quality TypeScript, Python, Next.js, and React code for client-specific features, reusable components, and libraries.
• Architect secure, high-performance solutions for enterprise-scale data volumes and clients processing millions of daily queries.
• Debug complex issues across client infrastructure and platform systems, and develop automation workflows connecting AI insights to business processes.
• Lead technical discussions, workshops, training sessions, architecture presentations, and enterprise proofs of concept.
• Partner with Product to turn recurring client needs and field insights into scalable product improvements and roadmap priorities.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of software engineering experience with production systems.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, Next.js, and React, with solid Python experience for backend development and data processing.
• Experience with REST APIs, system integration patterns, PostgreSQL, and time-series databases.
• Cloud platform experience; AWS is preferred.
• Experience working directly with enterprise clients and presenting complex technical concepts to technical and executive audiences.
• Ability to context-switch across multiple client engagements while maintaining clean, production-ready engineering standards.
