Manufacturing Specialist - Weekday Night Shift

Location: Devens, Massachusetts; onsite weekday night shift, Monday through Wednesday and every other Thursday from 6:00pm to 6:00am

Hourly pay: Level 1 $21.90–$30.12; Level 2 $24.47–$33.65; Level 3 $30.91–$42.50, plus a 10% differential on applicable shifts outside standard base-pay shifts.

What you will do

• Set up, operate, control, and monitor industrial equipment according to production work orders and work instructions.
• Prepare materials for processing, load and unload fixtures and baskets, and transfer materials between departments.
• Inspect and measure product features and document results accurately.
• Identify process changes and resolve discrepancies in documentation, records, and inventory counts.
• Perform general maintenance, housekeeping, cleaning, organization, inventory control, and ERP documentation.
• Support cross-functional continuous improvement initiatives and uphold safety and quality procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, or 3–5 years of heavy manufacturing experience.
• Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems; Epicor is preferred.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Physical ability to perform the essential duties and lift up to 60 pounds.
• Ability to complete forklift operator training and read documents, computer screens, and files.

Nice to have

• Associate degree or higher.
• Knowledge of import/export compliance, customs documentation, ITAR, or Incoterms.
• Knowledge of 6S.
