Staff Infrastructure/DevOps Engineer (Automotive)

Location: Onsite five days a week at the Santa Clara, California office

Salary: $180,000–$260,000 per year

What you will do

• Build and maintain scalable ETL pipelines for data collected from live autonomous trucks.
• Design and implement upgrades and production deployments for onboard vehicle infrastructure and the AV software stack.
• Develop scalable CI pipelines that automate AV software development, testing, and release processes.
• Implement infrastructure-as-code solutions with Terraform or similar tools for customer-facing operations.
• Coordinate deployments to new customer sites with operations teams.
• Deploy in-house simulation software and integrate scenario-based testing into CI pipelines.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering or a similar role.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform or similar infrastructure-as-code tools, Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
• Knowledge of relational and time-series databases, including PostgreSQL, TimescaleDB, or InfluxDB.
• Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Argo or Airflow.
• Experience managing upgrades and rollbacks for customer-facing SaaS environments.
• Scripting expertise in Python and Bash, plus experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of CI/CD solutions such as GitLab CI or Jenkins.
