Senior Director, Corporate Development (AI Infrastructure)

Location: San Jose, California, United States

Base salary: $220,000–$280,000 per year, depending on experience, level, and business need. The role may also include a discretionary bonus, incentives, and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead acquisitions, investments, and partnerships from target identification through closing and integration.
• Partner with executive, engineering, product, finance, legal, and operations leaders on build, buy, and partner analyses.
• Develop valuation models, pro forma analyses, investment assessments, and board-ready recommendations.
• Research adjacent and emerging markets through opportunity sizing, target landscaping, and competitive analysis.
• Drive diligence workstreams and oversee post-merger integration to deliver strategic and financial value.
• Monitor AI infrastructure technologies, companies, business models, and competitive dynamics.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field.
• 12+ years of professional experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or related roles.
• 5–8 years of leadership or management experience.
• Corporate development experience in semiconductors or investment banking experience covering the semiconductor sector.
• Demonstrated experience leading strategic transactions and engaging directly with executive leadership.
• Strong valuation, financial modeling, strategic analysis, communication, and presentation skills.

Nice to have

• MBA or another advanced degree.
• Direct M&A experience in semiconductors or data center infrastructure.
• Experience planning and executing post-merger integrations.
• Familiarity with AI/ML infrastructure trends and data center connectivity.
• Willingness to travel for deals, industry events, and conferences.
