Company

hirify.global is an AI-native CRM that builds organized customer context from email, calendars, and meetings, including accounts, tasks, follow-ups, and insights.

What you will do

  • Design, review, and ship production systems for databases, scheduling, permissions, and distributed workloads.
  • Improve query planning, indexing, data modeling, and data-access patterns for schema-flexible records stored in Postgres.
  • Build efficient record-level permission evaluation across application, API, search, dashboards, and agents.
  • Balance real-time search indexing with historical imports and backfills using concurrency controls, prioritization, and backpressure.
  • Investigate and debug production issues across application code, databases, queues, and infrastructure.
  • Take increasing end-to-end ownership of one or more systems through design, implementation, incident response, and operations.

Requirements

  • Strong computer science fundamentals and a degree in computer science or a related field.
  • Depth in a systems-oriented area such as operating systems, databases, distributed systems, security, research, an internship, or a substantial project.
  • Curiosity about how systems work, including query planners and underlying data-access mechanisms.
  • Ownership of shipped work and responsibility for keeping systems reliable after release.
  • Clear communication about technical decisions and tradeoffs.
  • Ability to work from the Cambridge office, with Wednesdays available for remote work.

Culture & Benefits

  • Small, systems-focused engineering group with close design and code review.
  • Health insurance covering medical, dental, and vision care.
  • Three weeks of paid time off, 11 paid company holidays, and a winter holiday break.
  • Three months of paid family leave and a 401(k) plan.
  • Meaningful early equity, commuter and lunch stipends, team dinners, events, offsites, and retreats.
